Lacy Estelle

The word "dyslexia" can be so scary for parents to hear, yet it is often diagnosed alongside ADHD.

In today's episode, Lacy Estelle speaks with Dr. Rebecca Troy, founder and director of Retrain the Dyslexic Brain about her programs that help the dyslexic child's brain to hear and respond differently to language. By stimulating underutilized areas of the brain through repetitive exercises, new neural connections for language can be created that allow the dyslexic child to spell, decode unfamiliar words, follow and process a conversation, and most importantly, have confidence to be a good learner.

Dr. Rebecca Troy has a Doctorate in Education, is Nationally Board Certified in Early and Middle Literacy and has over 15 years experience working with children and teens to retrain how the brain hears and responds to language.

Retrain the Dyslexia Brain has 3 programs to help the dyslexic child:

  • ReTrain the Dyslexic Brain
  • Momentum Program
  • Advanced Spelling Support
